 The Beautiful Facets of Education

The Beautiful Facets of EducationEDUCATION must begin at home wherever you are in the world. Since this blog is aimed at Spanish readers, let me beam this article to the appropriate audience. For those Spanish readers out there who understand English, let me tell you and exhort you to educate your children as early as when they begin talking. Try this out with some tips from your child’s pediatrician and child psychologist. Once he or she enters nursery, there are child psychologists at school who will assist you.

But it is more advantageous to buy your children books in English. You can also teach them English using the Internet or some soft form of learning. These can begin by introducing the appropriate English terms to certain simple objects like for instance an olive tree. An olive tree is called aceltuna in Spanish. Your child already knows the Spanish name obviously. All you need to do is teach him English.

During the first day of your child at school, make sure to pay attention to his or her actions. This can be very important as a child’s brain is the most precarious and can develop through and through if it is well-fed with relevant lessons. Make sure that you be absent from work that day for both parents. If you can afford it, then enroll your child to the best schools such as the ones using the Montessori or the Waldorf or the Jesuit system. Once your child finishes high school, he or she can enter college smoothly.

It is now time for the child to choose what program he or she would like to undertake. Never ever demand your child to take a certain program that he or she doesn’t like. Be very sensitive to this or otherwise the child cannot optimize his or her learning if she or he is forced to take up medicine or engineering perhaps. The child has his or her own talents and skills that needed to be nurtured and it is these talents that must be enhanced through tertiary education.

A child’s tertiary education preparedness starts as early as when he or she is still in junior high. Your kid must be well-prepared every time there’s a college admissions fair coming into the school. A college admissions fair usually has lots of college admissions staff participating and recruiting would-be students in their colleges. During this affair, it is imperative to impress the college visitors with your resume and college admissions essay. They will later contact you regarding your college admissions essay for possible inculcation into their enrollment system. Be sure too to know what programs are available for you in those particular colleges which are of course to your liking.

If the college is too far from you and you deem it inappropriate to be in a boarding school because of the expenses, then there are two alternatives – enrolling in a community college or in an online college. An online college is just like a correspondence institution; only emails are delivered online of course. Other schemes don’t need emails. What they need are student accounts. You need to log in to your student account to retrieve the daily lessons.

 Education as your treasure

Nowadays, we noticed that the more the population arises the more uneducated arises too. There are many reasons why these phenomena happened, maybe because of the lack of concerns from the government or from the system of the family itself. Education as we all know is a very important element in every person. Due to education, we can have better chances to succeed. Though we could not generally said that because of education we became rich, because there are some who did not finish even in their high school diploma and yet became one of the luxurious persons on earth, it actually depends on whatever strategy you mastered in becoming rich and famous.

Education as the old age said, is your only treasure no one can get from you. Yes it is certainly true, because education will help you settle for a good job ahead. Business men also became rich and famous because they applied their learning from school in their real life. Though some did not reach the peak of their strategy, at least most of the educated people are bound of having a good job with them.

What else education can give you? Well there are many, you notice people who are degree holders are more mature and when talking about debate they are professional to butt in, they know how to control their temper when they are angry and they know better what are correct and not in every circumstances they may be facing. The attitude they have is a good factor for business firm who are looking for professionals. When you are involved in a big business firm and well educated, you are also well respected with the people around you. No one will dare to brag you since you have things you can also boast off. You see earning education gives big benefit for you.

We might admittedly find out that involving in education is quite boring and sometimes a boredom from us because of its hard projects aside from the expensive tuition fees. These things currently will be the hindrances why some feel lazy in continuing school. They hate the daily discussions and the assignments plus they think of the long-long years to finish it. Due to these factors, they tend to quit school and preferred to work in some fast food chains or to whatever vacant positions that suits their capability. Since they find that they can grab salaries out in their needs. Without thinking that they can have a better job ahead after schooling, it would be a great feeling and worth the while thinking of wearing your graduation gowns and holding your diploma upon graduation, education is a better stepping stone to succeed.

 The Wonderful World of Kindergarten

EDUCATION is a process from childhood to adulthood. Thus, education can be fairly divided into primary education, secondary education, tertiary education and higher education. Nursery, Kindergarten and Elementary fall under primary education of course. In nursery, toddlers as young as two years old are taught manners in interacting with other kids. They are also slowly taught a few basic lessons like the alphabet, arithmetic, the size and shape of a certain object, etc. During their very first day of school, kindergarten students are grouped together in the classroom. They are then read a story by the teacher. Each of the students has a book of course which shows very elaborate pictures of the story. Other schools flash multimedia presentations in computer screens where each student has his or her own computer. Then the story is narrated. To conserve on resources, some of these schools use a projector while the story is being narrated by a live person i.e. the teacher.

Remember that the very first day of school for your child will have a tremendous impact on him or her so the very first day in nursery or kindergarten school must be crucial. If you want, you can take a day off and monitor your child during his or her first day of school. As a dad or as a mom, you’ll really be looking forward to that I’m sure. The most recommended story to read to students during their very first day of school is The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn. The fable chronicles a raccoon’s nervousness in going to school. His mom, in a very understanding manner, slowly explains to him that going to school is meeting new friends, having new experiences and exploring lots and lots of things. The story culminates with the raccoon, finally convinced to go to school, bids goodbye to his mom and kisses her hand.

During the first day of school, students are also enticed to form a circle. They then will introduce their first names, describe themselves and describe the person to their left and to their right. This activity takes about an hour. Then students will then have their snacks. During this point, parents, guardians and teachers must observe which students share snacks or go about in groups but still eat their snacks individually or which of the students are loners. Some kindergarten schools go to the extent of even employing child psychologists to assess the students in their first day of school.

There are several reading strategies employed by the kindergarten school and the teacher during subsequent activities. These are used if each student has a copy of a book. In echo reading, a teacher reads the story sentence by sentence. The students will then follow in a chorus. In choral reading, the story is read both simultaneously by the students and the teacher. There’s another reading technique wherein the teacher reads a phrase and the students supply the next phrase by reading in a chorus from their individual books. Kindergarten is really fun!

About

Education is any process, formal or informal, by which an individual is encouraged to fully develop his potential. It also provides an individual with the necessary knowledge, skills and character to be a productive member of society. The term 'education' is often used to mean formal education. Formal education is a conscious effort by human society to pass on skills and information considered vital for socialisation. Learning that takes place in schools or school-like environment is a form of formal education. In developing cultures, there is often little formal education. Children learn from their environment and the adults around them serve as teachers. In more developed societies, an efficient means of transmission of values and accumulated knowledge - the school and teacher - becomes necessary. Informal education, on the other hand, results from the constant effect of environment and its power to shape values and habits. Individuals acquire informal education from the world-at-large - families, peers, books, media and others. In a broad sense, the term 'education' covers formal learning, value-building and day-to-day experiences. Simply put, all that an individual experiences is a form of education.
