 Relevance of Good Education

Relevance of Good EducationIt has become a tradition worldwide that acquiring knowledge is best learned inside school premises. Parents send their children to school so they can learn what they are ought to. Education is a learning process step by step. We start at the fundamentals and gradually step up the ladder 1 step higher each year. Even adults continue to study their fields of interests. Education is necessary. It is imposed and is of utmost importance for anybody’s future security. It has become not only a trend but an indispensable means to get by in the real world. Education brings various challenges to us. While we grow at our own pace, we learn with the paces of others. We can’t begin with education by ourselves. There are always people ahead of us who are the ones responsible to teach us. Later in life we’ll be the ones teaching the generation down below. Come to think of it, life is not the only cycle in this world for education is one too. We cannot keep for ourselves what we have learned for we are always bound to share it in the circumstances and phases of our daily lives. Meeting each facet of the day and executing our activities is credited on the education we did for ourselves. If we have missed the opportunity to gain good education we will also miss good chances to make life easier for us. But education is not restricted to the four walls of a classroom, we can gain education anywhere we are. As we read, we gain knowledge of something, thereby educating ourselves in a short while. As we watch TV we gain insights and ideas thus educating ourselves in the passage of time.

Moreover, in the real world, good education has great impact on independence. The essentials of independence is directly parallel to money. We cannot gain independence if we have the lack of it. Rather, we earn it from the work we do and the activities that run our lives. Unfortunately, these are something we cannot get around with naturally. We need to sharpen and practice our skills, talents and abilities, and the basic means to do so is through proper education. Real value goes beyond getting the most out of the present for it lies in the future. We need to cultivate our minds so we can look forward and act on our aspirations.

 Factors Affecting a Good Education

Factors Affecting a Good EducationIt has become a typical tradition for people to believe in complete education. They believe that the wide opportunities for a graduate student do exist, and it is extensive. Therefore, it is only imperative to expand your level of education and distinguish yourself from the chances at hand that suit you and decide which will be best for you. However, the ambiguous accreditation standards in some schools are weak, especially in countries that are still developing. The lack of skilled teachers can add up to the handicap. Some schools still follow the old-fashioned models and only copy programs from different sources. These and many more are the disabilities and downside factors affecting a good education, thereby making the education of the country itself impracticable. Others may think that the name of a school has a strong influence to the standards of its accreditation. Because of this, students and parents alike want to make the right choice in choosing a good school. However, put in mind that the name of the school should not be the only factor to consider first-hand. If you want to be sure consult with the higher administration and gather facts, if not just ask for professional opinions, it helps to know what they think about it.

On the other hand, the ideal privilege for those who cannot afford a good education is to become involve in open opportunities, a scholarship for example, or maybe an influential sponsor. The cost of college education for example is too high, and if you can’t afford your preferred degree, your dreams will sink down hopelessly. Getting a scholarship is the surest thing to get you started. Otherwise, you can either spend your own savings, which in most cases aren’t enough, or loan money from a rich acquaintance or just loan it straight from a bank.

Therefore, for a student to be wise in choosing what course to take for his complete education, he must do careful research on what school to take which program before anything else. Different schools could offer a specialized program. He can also consult with the people ahead of his standpoint and gather information and opinions. The people ahead of you can always hand you down a point to know. Good luck.

Education executive hurled brickbats on “very poor” education in Britain

Education executive hurled brickbats on “very poor” education in BritainThe problem on quality of education is also felt in many parts of the world since this is also a pressing concern. Many people in the old generation all over the world and not only in Britain are saying that during their time the quality and standard of education is high and they wonder why the new leaders in education are not following their footsteps.

The same feeling is also shared by Chris Parry, head of the biggest organization of independent schools in Britain. Parry launched his so-called dramatic attack on the very poor quality of education especially in state-run institutions. He said this is really different scenario now because children have suffered so much in the decline of education in many parts of the world. There are new graduates that are not ready to take up responsibilities because they lack the proper knowledge. In fact, in recent job fairs conducted by the US in different parts of the world, they claimed many graduates are not qualified on the many positions and job available. They have cited that many countries of the world are not actually following the trend especially in the technological advancement the world is experiencing. This is the same problem that many students who came from state-run schools also experience, says Parry, Independent Schools Council (ISC) chief executive. It may sound too harsh for local leaders in the country since Parry belongs to independent private schools. However, Parry’s observations about the declining quality of education in most state-run schools in the UK also sounds “offensive” to many parents but that’s the truth and truth really hurts.

Parry had also observed that because of the very low quality of education in many state-run schools in Britain many parents have also resorted to transferring their children in private institutions. He cited that there is the so-called “cold war” mentality happening between private and state-run institutions instead of working together to boost the standards of education to benefit the parents and their children.

The transfer of many students to private institutions in the UK region is also a concern faced by many private educators because they have to institute programs to fast track the learning capability of transferees in private schools. Many of these transferees from state-run schools are really having hard time to cope p with the level of education in private institutions. Fortunately, there are now efforts for active partnerships of both private and state-run schools to institute reforms in education so that students in government-run schools are given much of the assistance to meet the education demand of the new generation.

About

Education is any process, formal or informal, by which an individual is encouraged to fully develop his potential. It also provides an individual with the necessary knowledge, skills and character to be a productive member of society. The term 'education' is often used to mean formal education. Formal education is a conscious effort by human society to pass on skills and information considered vital for socialisation. Learning that takes place in schools or school-like environment is a form of formal education. In developing cultures, there is often little formal education. Children learn from their environment and the adults around them serve as teachers. In more developed societies, an efficient means of transmission of values and accumulated knowledge - the school and teacher - becomes necessary. Informal education, on the other hand, results from the constant effect of environment and its power to shape values and habits. Individuals acquire informal education from the world-at-large - families, peers, books, media and others. In a broad sense, the term 'education' covers formal learning, value-building and day-to-day experiences. Simply put, all that an individual experiences is a form of education.
